Swamp Rabbit Trail - Digital Pattern
Instant Download, pdf Quilt Pattern
The Swamp Rabbit Trail quilt pattern gets its name from the 22 mile walking and biking path running along the scenic Reedy River on a historic rail bed in Greenville, SC. It is one of my family’s favorite places to hike with its gentle peaks and valleys.
The Swamp Rabbit Trail block looks more complicated than it really is, with the “peaks” being stitched using traditional flying geese techniques.
Swamp Rabbit Trail contains piecing instructions for two different layouts, a horizontal layout and a vertical layout. Each layout uses the same number and size of blocks but differs in the block orientation, sashing, and borders.
You can find the full color, professionally printed version of Swamp Rabbit Trail here.
See the pictures above for illustrations of the different layouts and fabric requirements.
